Terms & conditions

Last updated: June 30, 2026 · Effective: June 30, 2026

These terms govern your use of boisebusinessportal.com and any subdomain operated under it (the "Site"), and any services offered through the Site (the "Services"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. The Site and the Services

The Site is a catalog of demonstration websites and a description of the website design, build, hosting, and consultation services we offer. Demonstration sites ("demos") are for illustration only and are not commercial offerings of the businesses they depict. Trademarks and trade dress shown in demos belong to their respective owners; appearance does not imply endorsement.

2. Demo content and intellectual property

The visual designs, layouts, copy, code samples, and supporting assets on the Site — including each demo — are the intellectual property of Boise Business Portal or its licensors, except where credited otherwise. You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial evaluation purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, scrape, redistribute, or republish the design, code, or assets of any demo.
  • Reverse-engineer or download a demo's source code for the purpose of recreating it elsewhere.
  • Use the Site's contents to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine-learning models without prior written permission.
  • Frame, embed, or republish demo subdomains on third-party properties.

If you'd like to license a specific demo design for your own business, request a build through the services contact form.

3. The JSON API

We provide a public read-only JSON endpoint at /api/listings.json and per-demo endpoints under /api/listings/<slug>.json. The API is offered as-is, with no uptime guarantee. Use is subject to reasonable-use rate limits. Automated scraping at rates that materially impact the Site's performance is prohibited.

4. Inquiries and requests for build

Submitting an inquiry through the Site does not create a contract for services. A binding engagement is created only when both parties sign a separate, written services agreement that describes the scope, deliverables, schedule, and fees. Until that agreement is signed, either party may withdraw at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, including infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Site or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Submit malicious content, malware, or attempt unauthorized access to any system.
  • Harass, abuse, or impersonate any person through Site forms.

6. Third-party links and integrations

The Site links to and demonstrates third-party services (Stripe, Calendly, Google services, and others). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of those third parties. Your interactions with them are governed by their own terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Demos are for illustration and may not reflect the current state of the underlying integration or third-party service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boise Business Portal and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Boise Business Portal from any claim, demand, loss, or expense arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our practices change or when the law requires it. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top, and for material changes we'll post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.

11. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
